2 c. flour
4 t. baking powder
1/2 t. cream of tarter
1/2 t. salt
2 T. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg, unbeaten
3/4 c. pizza sauce
1 lb. hamburger
1 c. tomato sauce
1 can cream of mushroom
1/4 lb. cheese
1/3 c. flour
1 1/3 c. milk
onions, optional

Sift flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and cream of tarter. Add shortening and blend. Then add pizza sauce and egg. Stir to a stiff dough. Roll out to 1/4" thickness. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on dough. next put browned hamburger on pizza sauce. Roll this up like a cinnamon roll. Put tomato sauce in the bottom of a baking dish. Place roll on top of this. Bake at 350 for 30 - 40 minutes. Mix cream of mushroom soup and cheese in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Mix flour and milk to a thick paste. Stir quickly into cream of mushroom mixture. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly. Serve this sauce with your beef roll.
