2 c. brown sugar 2 eggs 1/2 c. sour milk 2 1/4 c. flour 1/2 t. salt 1/2 c. shortening 1 c. hot water 3 T. hersheys cocoa 2 t. soda 1 t. vanilla Put soda in milk and set aside. Mix eggs and sugar then add shortening, cocoa and hot water, stir well. Add salt, vanilla and flour to rest of mixture. Lastly add soda nad milk mixture. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
