6 egg yolks
1 qt. milk
2 ¼ c. sugar, if using Rich Whip topping; if using cream, use 3 c. sugar
3 env. gelatin, dissolved in ½ c. cold water
2 c. cream
1 tsp. vanilla
Grated chocolate

Directions

Cook the first 3 ingredients together in a double boiler for ½ hour, stirring frequently. Pour the egg mixture over the gelatin and stir until cool and slightly jelled. Beat 2 cups cream and add to mixture. Pour into 3 baked pie shells; sprinkle with grated chocolate.
