1 c. vegetable oil 2 c. sugar 2 eggs 2 T. vanilla 4 c. bread flour 2 ½ tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda ¾ tsp. salt 1 ½ c. sour cream or buttermilk ½ c. (or desired amount) chocolate chips ½ c. water. Directions: Cream butter, eggs and sugar. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream and water. Blend in chocolate chips. Drop on cookie sheet and bake at 425 degrees for 3-4 minutes (do not overbake for soft cookies. Place Whoopie Pie Frosting between 2 cookies for “Whoopie Pie Sandwich”. FILLING: 3 egg whites (whipped) 3 tsp. vanilla 3 c. powdered sugar 1 1/2 c. Crisco 3 T. milk Beat egg whites until stiff. Add vanilla. In seperate bowl mix sugar, Crisco and milk until creamy.
