1 ¾ c. flour ½ c. brown sugar, packed firmly 2 T. milk 1 t. soda ½ c. peanut butter 48 candy kisses or stars ½ T. salt 1 egg 1 t. vanilla ½ c. sugar ½ c. shortening, softened Directions Combine all ingredients except candy in a large bowl. Mix slowly until dough forms. Shape dough into balls by rolling in hands. Use about 1 t. dough. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. When removing from oven slightly press a candy kiss or star on top of each cookie. Cookies are best under baked. 10 minutes maybe to long. Anitha Lehman Back to Cookie Recipes |
