1/4 c. onion, chopped 1 1/2 T. butter 1 quart chicken broth 3/4 c. milk 1 celery stalk, chopped 1 1/2 T. flour 1 c. peanut butter 1/2 c. fried bacon crumbled Saute onion and celery in butter. Stir in 3 tablespoons of flour till well blended. Add 1 qt. chicken broth. Bring to boil. Add bacon. Blend 1 c. peanut butter and 3/4 c. milk. Add to chicken broth mixture. Return to low heat until simmering. Garnish with chopped peanuts. Back to Soup Recipes |
