1/2 C. milk
1/3 C. sugar
1/2 C. softened butter
1/2 t. salt
1 pkg. active dry yeast
1/2 C. warm water
1 lg. egg beaten
3 1/2 - 4 C. flour

Directions
Scald milk, add butter, sugar and salt.
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Let stand 5 minutes. Add to milk mixture. Add egg and flour until well blended. Cover and let rise in warm place 45 minutes. Put half of dough on floured surface and roll out to 10 X 14. Cut dough lengthwise in half. On one half spread 3 T. spicy salsa and sprinkle parmesan cheese and oregano.
Top with other half of rolled out dough. Cut strips width wise every 1/2". Twist strips as you place on greased cookie sheets. Repeat with last half of dough. Let rise 1/2 hour. Bake at 350 for 1/2 hour or slightly brown.
