5 c. white sugar
4 c. water
4 c. vinegar

Directions

Cook for 10 minutes. Fill jars with cooked, peeled and quartered red beets. Fill to mouth of jar with cooked liquid. Process in hot water bath for 5 to 10 minutes.
Yield: 10 quarts
