5 c. sugar 3 c. shortening 4 eggs, beaten 8 t. baking soda, dissolved in 1 c. buttermilk 1 c. sorghum 2 t. baking powder 4 t. cinnamon 1 t. salt 12 c. flour Mix in given order.
