Dough: 1 ½ T. yeast, dissolved in ½ c. warm water ¾ c. milk, scalded 1 ¼ tsp. salt 2 eggs ½ c. shortening ½ c. sugar 3 ½ to 4 c. flour Topping: 2 T. brown sugar 2 T. flour 1 ½ tsp. cinnamon 1 T. Oleo Filling: Boil together: 4 T. water & ¼ c. sugar Add: 2 beaten egg whites ½ tsp. salt 4 2/3 c. powdered sugar ½ c. Crisco 2 tsp. vanilla Directions Dough: Let dough rise approximately 2 hours, then divide in 3 parts and put into pie pans. Topping: Mix until crumbly; sprinkle on cakes.
