1/3 C. softened butter 1 t. vanilla 3 1/2 C. sifted powder sugar 1/3 C. light corn syrup 1/2 t. salt Directions Blend butter, syrup, vanilla and salt in a large bowl. Add powdered sugar all at once. Mix together with spoon, then with hands. Kneading well. Turn out on a board and continue kneading until mixture is blended and smooth. Make flat or round center. Press spanish peanuts on top and cover with chocolate. Yields 25 centers. Back to Candy Recipes |
