2 c. hot milk
3 eggs, separated
1 t. vanilla
1/2 t. salt
1/3 c. brown sugar
2 T. white sugar

Mix together egg yolk, vanilla, salt and brown sugar. Add to milk. Beat egg whites and white sugar. Mix all together and pour into unbaked pie shell.
Sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon. bake at 375. Remove from oven while custard is still soft and jiggly in center.
