8 oz. cream cheese, softened 2 c. cool whip 2 c. powdered sugar Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar; gradually blend in cool whip. Frost cake and top with your favorite glaze.

1/2 c. butter 1 3/4 c. powdered sugar 1/2 c. cocoa 2 unbeaten egg yolks 1/4 t. salt 1 t. vanilla 3 T. milk Cream together butter, sugar and cocoa. Add egg yolks and salt and blend thoroughly. Add vanilla and milk. Spread on cooled cake.

Bakery Frosting

2 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1/2 c. butter 2 egg whites salt flavoring Cream 1 1/4 c. of powdered sugar with butter, add stiffly-beaten egg whites, then add remaining powdered sugar and other ingredients. Beat and beat and beat!

Combine: 6 oz. softened cream cheese 3 c. confectioners sugar 6 T. softened butter 1 t. vanilla Mix until well blended. Sprinkle with 1/2 c. nuts.

4 T. flour 1 c. milk 1 c. granulated sugar 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. Crisco 1 t. vanilla Heat flour and milk, stirring constantly until thick; cool completely. Cream rest of ingredients until fluffy. Combine with cooked mixture and blend well.

Cream together: 1/2 c. butter 4 3/4 cup powdered sugar 1/2 c. cocoa Beat in: 2 egg yolks 3/4 t. salt Blend in: 3 T. milk 1 T. vanilla

Caramel Frosting

1 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. butter 1/4 t. salt 1/4 c. milk 2 c. powdered sugar Boil sugar, butter and salt for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add milk; bring to boil again. Remove from heat. Add powdered sugar and stir until smooth.

4 t. cocoa 6 t. milk 1 stick oleo 1 t. vanilla 1 box powdered sugar Bring all ingredients except powdered sugar to a boil, add powdered sugar, remove from heat and mix until smooth. Pour over cake as it is removed from oven.

Buttermilk Cake
