6 T. liquid bluing 6 T. water 6 T. salt 1 T. ammonia Mix all together and pour over a lump of coal or piece of rock in a deep dish or fishbowl. Add different colors of food coloring at different places. Watch it grow!

Children’s Gunk

2 c. Elmer’s glue 1 1/2 c. water 2 t. 20 Mule Team borax 1 c. water few drops food color Mix glue and 1 1/2 c. water in bowl. in a second bowl, dissolve borax and 1 c. water; add coloring. Add to glue mixture. Stir. Keep refrigerated when children are not playing with.

1 T. hydrogen peroxide 1 t. salt 1 T. mouthwash or water baking soda Add soda to make a paste. Rinse well.

4 sm. jars of Vaseline 3 camphor blocks 1/2 oz. menthol crystals Crumble camphor block up to powder form. 1 1/4 c. flour 1/2 t. baby powder 1/4 c. salt Mix the above and add: 1 pkg. Kool-Aid (unsweetened) 3/4 c. boiling water 1 T. oil Stir all together until mixed well. Then knead on floured surface until smooth. Add more flour if still sticky.
