Breakfast Stratta 24 c. flour 4 T. salt 8 T. baking powder 1 ¾ c. shortening Directions How to use: 2 3/8 c. mix and 7/8 c. sweet milk. Stir milk into mix with a fork until too thick to stir. Finish mixing by hand. Gently work the dough a little to make it elastic.
Buttermilk Pancakes 1 c. flour ½ t. salt ½ t. soda ½ t. baking powder 1 ¼ c. buttermilk Directions Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Stir the soda into the buttermilk, then blend into the flour mixture. Fry on a well-oiled hot griddle. (You can use a skillet).
